Haysville moped wreck injures mother, daughter
Some rough railroad tracks near Haysville may have been the cause of a serious accident late Tuesday.
Sedgwick County Sheriff Sgt. Gary Hargus said 37-year-old Holley Phillips of Haysville was on a motor scooter that went out of control on the tracks on 87th Street, east of Meridian. Phillips' 12-year-old daughter Molly was riding with her.
The woman was in critical condition this morning at Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis while her daughter was treated and released.
