Wichita Police arrest second suspect in north side murder
Police have a second suspect in custody for a fatal shooting at a north Wichita apartment.
A 23-year-old man was arrested Wednesday evening, and police say he was the man who called 911 to report the shooting early Monday in the 900 block of North Broadway. A 21-year-old man was arrested later in the day. Homicide lieutenant Todd Ojile said new information led to the second arrest. " This was an individual we had already talked to one time and released. More information was obtained and he was arrested. " Ojile said. The body of 34-year-old Ronald Wilson was found in his apartment. Ojile said robbery was the motive for the shooting.
This is Wichita's 13th homicde of the year.
