Three men charged in fatal Wichita shooting
A charge of first degree felony murder has been filed against three men for a fatal shooting at a north Wichita apartment.
Wichita Police arrested the third suspect on Thursday, and all three made their first court appearances Friday afternoon.
The suspects are identified as 22-year-old Matthew McDaniel, 23-year-old Kendall Gentry, and 29-year-old Christopher Brown. They are also charged with aggravated robbery.
Bond for each suspect was set at $250,000. They are scheduled for a preliminary hearing on July 26.
The three men are accused of the shooting death of 34-year-old Ronald Wilson early Monday at his apartment in the 900 block of North Broadway. Police said Wilson was a gang member, but the motive was robbery and the shooting is not considered to be gang-related.
