Winfield police investigating church burglaries
Winfield Police are asking for the community's help with an investigation into a rash of burglaries at the First Church of the Nazarene, Trinity Lutheran Church, and First Christian Church this weekend.
Police say the burglaries have happened in the early morning hours. The suspects have been getting away with undisclosed amounts of currency, as well as doing significant damage to each of the churches.
The remaining churches in town have been notified of the burglaries.
