Sheriff's Department needs help to locate an unknown shooter
The Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office wants to talk with anyone with information about a walk-in shooting call at the Via Christi St. Joseph Campus in the 3600 block of East Harry.
Deputies arrived at the hospital just after 1:30 a.m. Friday. A spokesman said a man believed to be in his 20s was leaving a business in the 4800 block of South Clifton, where he was shot once in the arm walking through a parking lot. The man was unable to provide a description of the shooter.
Citizens in the area between 1 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. are being asked to call detectives at 316-660-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
