Salvation Army fundraiser on Facebook ends today
The Salvation Army is entering the last day of its online fundraiser through Facebook.
The Shaw Foundation is donating $1 for every new "like" of The Salvation Army Wichita's Facebook page. The total donation will peak at $1,000.
"We'd like to thank everyone that has shown their support of The Salvation Army through this effort," said Douglas Rowland, major and Wichita city Commander for The Salvation Army. "We haven't reached our goal yet, but we hope to make significant toward it before the day is done."
