Police arrested 2 teenagers after a series of car burglaries at a west Wichita apartment complex.  A resident of an apartment complex in the 8600 block of West Westlawn reported seeing the men breaking windows to get into cars in the parking lot.

Lieutenant Doug Nolte said officers arrived and found 4 men at the scene. The men ran away, but officers caught up with a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old suspect, and they were booked into jail.  Police were still looking for the other two men.

Nolte said at least 4 cars were burglarized, and stolen property was recovered.  He said anyone who discovers that their car was broken into should report it to 911 or the police department case desk at 268-4221.
