WSU President encourages students to speak out
One of the biggest fast food chains in the country is under fire in Wichita.
Many are criticizing Chick-Fil-A and vowing to boycott - after its president Dan Cathy took a very public stand against same-sex marriage. Hundreds of WSU students have signed a petition to get the fast food store out of the Ratigan Center.
WSU President John Bardo told KFDI Thursday morning he appreciates students who feel strongly about an issue and are willing to take a stand. " No allegations have been forwarded to the university. " Bardo said." No one was made an allegation or come forward about being treated other than with respect. "
