Small plane crashes in Reno County
The pilot of a small plane escaped injury Monday afternoon when his plane went out of control after landing on a private airstrip in Reno County. The Kansas Highway Patrol says the plane landed in the 3600 block of South Mohawk Road, southwest of Hutchinson, at about 12:15 p.m. Monday. The plane went out of control and into a field, then the nosegear collapsed and the plane flipped over.
