Fire destroys storage shed at north Wichita home
A storage shed was consumed in flames when firefighters were called to a north Wichita neighborhood Monday afternoon. The fire was reported in the 1600 block of North St. Francis around 1 p.m.
Wichita fire captain Kelly Ross said crews were able to get the fire out quickly. A rehab unit was set up to help crews deal with the triple-digit heat as well as the fire.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation. No one was hurt.
