Saline County official jailed after domestic incident
Saline County sheriff's deputies have arrested the county's emergency management director after a domestic disturbance.
Joe Koch, 41, reportedly was involved in a fight with his wife at their home in Assaria several weeks ago. An investigation began after the wife moved out and reported the incident to Saline County authorities.
Koch was booked into jail on Monday after he turned himself in to authorities. he is charged with aggravated battery, aggravated criminal sodomy, criminal restraint and criminal damage to property. A judge set his bond at $80,000.
Koch is on paid administrative leave following a vote by the Saline County Board of Officials.
