Moran and Airbus to hold business summit
The first-ever Air Capital Supplier Summit will be held Monday at the Center for Aviation Training. Senator Jerry Moran will join officials from Airbus, including Airbus Americans Chairman Allan McArtor.
The goal of the summit is to facilitate more business between Kansas companies and Airbus. More than 200 representatives of 90 companies that supply parts and materials to aircraft manufactures will meet with Airbus officials.
The goal is to increase business between Kansas suppliers and the airplane manufacturer. The summit begins with a press conference starting at 8:30 Monday morning.
