Investigators are looking for what sparked a fire inside of a large storage shed at Joyland.

It happened shortly before 7 p.m. Saturday on the west side fo the closed amusement park.

Wichita Fire Battalion Chief John Turner said smoke could be seen from several miles away as crews responded to the scene. Firefighters also had difficulty reaching the fire due to its location off of the roads in a wooded area.

Crews fought the fire defensively for a time before getting it under control.  Turner said the cause of the fire isn't immediately clear, and it's not known how much monetary damage it may have caused.

No injuries were reported.
