Someone has been arrested following the stabbing death of a 40-year-old man in Severy. The 48-year-old man is scheduled to make his first court appearance.

The Greenwood County Sheriff and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation are investigating the death of Dominic Angelo, who was found dead at his home on Sunday.

The 48-year-old suspect is from Hamilton and was arrested east of Eureka shortly after Angelo's body was found.

Severy Mayor Rodney Craig told the Associated Press that no other murder has been reported in his hometown in the 42 years he has live there.

Greenwood County Sheriff Rusty Bitler said investigators are still trying to determine the circumstances that led to Angelo's death.
