Wreck injures motorcycle driver on Hillside
A man driving a motorcycle suffered serious injuries in a traffic accident near 31st Street South and Hillside on Wednesday evening.
"The motorcycle was driving eastbound on 31st, and a blue Volvo was pulling out of a private drive, turning west. It appears they did not see the motorcycle," said Wichita Police Lieutenant Walker Andrews. "The impact was to the left, front quarter of the car. The rider of the motorcycle was ejected, where he received head injuries when he hit the ground."
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to Wesley Medical Center. Andrews said his condition was improving, but a CAT scan will be done to judge the extent of his injuries.
