Crews battle brush fire in northwest Sedgwick County
Sedgwick County firefighters got help from the Bentley, Mount Hope and Valley Center fire departments when a large brush fire broke out Thursday afternoon.
The fire was reported around 2 p.m. in the area of 93rd Street North and 151st Street West.
No homes or buildings were threatened by the fire. Crews had most of the fire contained, but they were still working on hot spots throughout the afternoon.
