Crowd gets agitated after band no-shows
Several people became upset when the band Los Tiegres del Norte said via video chat that they would not be performing Friday night at The Cotillion.
Wichita Police Sergeant Bart Brunscheen said police responded to the call of a large disturbance shortly before 12:30 a.m..
"There was a disturbance that escalated due to some issues regarding the refunding of tickets at the entrance door," Brunscheen said.
The ticket counter glass was broken out. Brunscheen said that once police got the crowd outside, there were no further problems.
Cotillion staff estimated the damage to be around $1,000. No injuries were reported in the disturbance.
