The KDHE said all contact should be avoided with the water in areas that have a warning or advisory. Contact with the water could cause intestinal and respiratory problems, as well as skin irritation.
Should you or your pet come in contact with the water, you are encouraged to wash the skin or fur with clean water as soon as possible.
