Farm house near Mulvane catches fire
The cause of a large fire near Mulvane is under investigation.
Sedgwick County Deputy Fire Marshall Clint Reed said flames were burning through the roof of the ranch-style house when firefighters arrived around 12:30 a.m.
The home is in the 11,700 block of east 103rd Street South.
Reed estimates the damage at $120,000. He said it is not known if anyone was living at the house when the fire started.
"There was so much damage, it's difficult to tell where in the house the fire started," Reed said.
