Superintendent Allison to visit Wichita schools
Students returning to Wichita Public Schools may be greeted by an important figure in the district.
Superintendent John Allison will tour schools this week, as students return to school on Wednesday. Allison will meet students and teachers, as well as observe classrooms.
Allison's scheduled itinerary:
Wednesday, Aug. 15:
- 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. - North High School , Marshall Middle School, Horace Mann Dual Language Magnet, Irving Elementary, Park Elementary.

1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. - Riverside Leadership Magnet Elementary, Woodland Health and Wellness Magnet Elementary, and McLean Science, Technology Magnet Elementary.
Thursday, Aug. 16:

8 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Stucky Middle School, Heights High School, Northeast Magnet High School, Isely Traditional Magnet, Chisholm Trail Elementary, Earhart Environmental Magnet Elementary, Ortiz Elementary, Pleasant Valley Middle School, Pleasant Valley Elementary School, Cloud Elementary.
Friday, Aug.17:
- 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Christa McAuliffe Academy, Metro-Boulevard Alternative High School, Mueller Aerospace and Engineering Discovery Magnet Elementary, Enders Elementary.
