Police investigate stabbing in north Wichita
A 60-year-old man drove himself to his home and called 911 after being stabbed at a liquor store near 21st and Grove late Monday afternoon.
Wichita Police Sergeant Ed Brower said the man was rushed to Wesley Medical Center in serious but stable condition with a large stab wound to the abdomen.
Brower said officers are looking for a suspect, described as an African-American man, standing 5-feet-6-inches tall, in his late 30s to early 40s with braided hair.
Police continue to talk to witnesses to find out what happened leading up to the stabbing.
