Man robbed by teenagers outside middle school
A 32-year-old man tells Wichita police he was beaten and robbed by two teenage boys outside Jardine Middle School at 3550 E. Ross Parkway.
The victim was smoking a cigarette at about 9:40 p.m. Tuesday when he was approached by the boys, one of whom he knows.
"These two youths asked the victim for a cigarette, which he gave them," said Police Lt. Doug Nolte. "While they were talking and smoking, both suspects then began to attack our victim."
The victim had some scratches that did not require medical attention.
The boys stole a small amount of cash, a silver necklace and some prescription pills.
