Teens arrested after foiled burglary attempt
Wichita Police arrested two teenagers, 15 and 16, after the resident of a home in the 700 block of south Poplar noticed them running from her home around 5:15 p.m. Friday.
Wichita Police Sergeant Scott Brunow said the teenagers caused an unknown amount of damage to the home as they attempted to break-in.
The teens are suspected of other robberies in the area. Brunow said the department's robbery division is working to get a specific number of robberies that the two are accused of doing.
