Surgical tools stolen from vehicle overnight
Wichita police need your help in their investigation of a vehicle break-in that occurred overnight in northwest Wichita.
Wichita Police Sergeant Bart Brunscheen said a woman called police around 1 a.m. this morning when she found that her vehicle was broken into, and the bag containing approximately $100,000 of surgical tools were missing.
Brunscheen said most of the tools were recovered in a nearby field. A surgical pack valued at $35,000 - called an osteotomy bag - remains missing.
So far no clues or suspects have surfaced in the case. If you have any information, you are encouraged to call police.
