Charges filed in accident that killed Plains, KS boy
A Colorado man has been charged in an accident that killed a 2-year-old Southwest Kansas boy.
The Hutchinson News reports that 59-year-old John Ranals of Florence, Colo. has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and driving under the influence for the accident that took the life of Konner Wilkerson of Plains, Kan.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said the boy died after running into the street Aug. 10, where he was struck by a pickup truck driven by Ranals.
