Police union votes against city contract offer
A contract offer from the city of Wichita to the police union has been voted down by union membership.
Our news partners at KWCH 12 report that the union membership has been working under the old contract that expired in Dec. 2010.
Neither side is commenting on the vote. The city and the union will return to negotiations, but it's unclear when talks will resume.
