Homicide arrest made in Ponca City
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has arrested a man following a death in Ponca City.
OSBI officials said Monday a 32-year-old man was taken into custody on a first-degree murder complaint in connection with the death of another man whose body was found in an old, abandoned trailer in south Ponca City. The body had been there several weeks.
The medical examiner's office will perform an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death and to make a positive identification of the victim.
The man was being detained at the Kay County jail late Monday but hadn't been formally charged.
