Fire department searches for suspects in Joyland Amusement Park arson
The Wichita Fire Department needs your help to solve an August 4 arson at Joyland Amusement Park, located at 2800 S. Hillside.
Fire Investigations Lt. Joe Evans said three teenagers, between ages of 16 and 18, were seen on bicycles leaving a storage building set on fire that was spotted by someone driving on I-135 and called 911.
"From what I understand, there were three white males, possibly one of them was a mixed male," said Evans.
Damage was estimated at $15,000. Anyone with information about the fire should call the Wichita Fire Investigations Unit at 337-9146 or Crime Stoppers at 267-2111.
