Power outage halted classes at Bishop Carroll
Wichita Bishop Carroll High School students had an unexpected day off due to an power outage.
A Catholic Diocese spokeswoman blamed the problem on a blown transformer Wednesday morning. Westar Energy crews were notified to get electricity to the building.
The spokeswoman said classes are expected to resume Thursday morning.
