Police investigating one vehicle crash
A 19-year-old man was rushed to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis in serious condition following a one vehicle accident that happened shortly after 11 p.m. Wednesday.
The accident happened in the 3000 block of North Coolidge.
Witnesses tell police they saw a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed northbound on Coolidge. The vehicle lost control and hit a tree.
There were no other passengers in the vehicle. Police are investigating to determine whether speed and alcohol may have been factors in the crash.
