Wichita police investigating fight in Old Town
Two men were seriously injured when they got into a fight with a group of men in Wichita's Old Town district early Friday morning.
Wichita Police Lt. Doug Nolte said the two men, ages 18 and 19, were in the 200 block of North Rock Island when they were approached by several men who began to punch the 19-year-old.
The 18-year-old tried to intervene. He was then struck, leading to a skull fracture.
Nolte said police are looking for an African American man around 20 years of age, 5-feet-8-inches tall and weighing around 165 pounds. It's not known what led to the fight.
