Arkansas City man killed in one-vehicle wreck
An Arkansas City man was killed after rolling his vehicle in Cowley County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports Bret Clark, 49, was driving southbound in a grass field in the 1600 block of H Street in Arkansas City when he lost control of his Jeep Utility.
The wreck happened around midnight. Clark was taken to South Central Kansas Regional Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Justin Cravens, a 38-year-old passenger in the vehicle, was injured in the wreck, but was not transported to the hospital.
