Fees go up at Brooks Landfill
Tipping fees at the Brooks Landfill went up over the weekend.
The fee for general household and commercial construction and demolition waste has increased $3 to $32 per ton.
Wichita Public Works and Utilities said the change was needed due to the rising costs of operating and maintaining the landfill. To see what types of waste is accepted at Brooks, click here, or call 722-2405.
