Wichita police have identified the man who was fatally stabbed Saturday night during an argument with two other men. The stabbing was reported around 8:30 p.m. near an apartment complex in the 400 block of West Central.

The victim was identified as 39-year-old Francisco J. Perez, who went by the name of "Tito." Wichita Police Lieutenant Randy Reynolds said Perez was found in the parking lot of the apartment complex with several stab wounds.

Reynolds said the stabbing happened on a nearby bike path along the Arkansas River. It's not known what the men were arguing about.

Police arrested two men, ages 25 and 27, and they were booked into jail for second degree murder. Formal charges are expected later this week. Reynolds said the men were "semi-homeless," and they were apparently living place-to-place.
