Deputies arrest 35 for DUI during annual campaign
Sedgwick County sheriff's deputies arrested 35 people for driving under the influence during its annual "You drink, you drive, you lose" campaign.
Deputies ran saturation patrols beginning Aug. 16 and ending Labor Day, Sept. 3.
During the campaign, deputies stopped 80 vehicles. Deputies issued 15 seatbelt violations and 56 citations for other traffic violations.
The campaign was supported by a grant from the Kansas Department of Transportation.
