Woman dies in Hutchinson car crash
A car crash in the 2900 block of E. 4th Ave. in Hutchinson killed one woman and left another with potential leg injuries.
Janice Stricker was driving a Dodge Neon west on 4th Ave when she crossed the center line. Her vehicle struck a Pontiac Grand Am driven by Janette Valdois head on.
Stricker was pronounced dead by medical personnel at the scene of the accident. Valdois was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center to be examined for possible leg injuries.
Two juveniles with Valdois were checked on at the scene and later released to a parent.
The wreck around 8:28 a.m. on Wednesday. The accident is still under investigation.
