Adults assault Wichita teen who wants out of gang
Two men and two women are accused of beating and kicking a 16-year-old boy until he was unconscious in the 400 block of W. Douglas in Wichita.
The boy, who is listed by police as a runaway, later told officers he was beaten up because he wants out of a gang. The incident happened around 10 p.m. Wednesday.
The victim was taken to a hospital where he was diagnosed with a broken orbital socket. Gang detectives are trying to locate some suspects.
