Vehicles stolen from east side dealership
Wichita police are looking for two suspects who broke into the Joe Self Chevrolet dealership in the 8800 block of East Kellogg and stole two trucks.
Wichita Police Sergeant Bruce Watts said the incident happened between 4 and 4:45 a.m.
Watts said the lights in the parking lot were shut off prior to the suspects arriving at the dealership. The suspects were dropped off at the dealership by a person driving an unidentifiable vehicle.
The suspects stole a white, 2010 Chevy Colorado crew-cab truck, that has not been recovered. A second vehicle, a 2008 Chevy truck, was used to ram a gate that was welded shut, causing significant damage. The second truck was recovered late this morning at the Claremont Apartments near Harry and Webb Road.
So far, police do not have any suspects in the case.
