Goddard High School named 2012 National Blue Ribbon School

Goddard High School is one of six Kansas schools named a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education.

The award is given to schools with high student achievement rates and preparation given to students for college or careers after graduation. 

Other schools receiving the recognition include Marshall Elementary School in Eureka and Garden City High School. The three schools in the Kansas City -area who also received the honor are Basehor Linwood High School, Blue Valley High School and St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas.
