Two walk into Wesley Hospital with gunshot wounds
Wichita Police are trying to determine where and when a man and woman were shot. It began around 3:30 a.m. Sunday when they both arrived by private vehicle to the emergency room of Wesley Hospital.
Wichita Police were called to the hospital after security reported a disturbance with several people who pushed their way past security. When officers arrived, they learned a pregnant woman in her 20s had suffered a graze wound and a man in his 20s had been shot in the leg.
Wichita Police Sgt. Jeff Swanson said the woman has minor injuries. However, the man is in serious condition. The man's injuries are not life threatening.
Swanson said they were still interviewing the two and are unsure where the shooting took place.
