Wichita man loses tooth in fight to keep his wallet
A man was grabbed from behind during a struggle with several men ended up losing his wallet - and a tooth.
Wichita Police Lt. Joe Schroeder said it happened about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 2400 block of West 31st Street outside O'Mally's Bar. Police said the man took his time to call 911.
"He was attempting to reason with the suspects in an attempt to get his property back, but that didn't work out, so he called the police," Schroeder said.
The suspects are described as African-American men, all with thin builds and believed to be in their 20s.
