Shopper had purse taken in east Wichita
A 79-year-old woman was robbed on her way into a Walgreens in east Wichita.
It happened in the 5500 block of East Harry. Her purse was snatched by an unidentified man who ran away.
Police said the suspect came up from behind to take the woman's purse. He was standing at the front door. The woman was not hurt.
The suspect was described as an African-American man with short hair, about 30 years old, weighing 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with black shorts and white shoes.
