Police found 10 shell casings in the street after a drive-by shooting was reported in northwest Wichita Wednesday night.

Wichita Police Lieutenant Doug Nolte said residents in two homes heard gunfire. They saw what looked like a red truck speeding away.

Officers found that one home had been struck twice, with a woman and three children inside. They were not hurt. Police don't believe that their house was the intended target.

There's no description of a suspect.
