18th annual Sweet A'Fair Picnic fundraiser scheduled for Tuesday
The 18th annual Sweet A'Fair Picnic fundraiser is scheduled for Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. The event features food, beverages, a live and silent auction, live entertainment and more with a suggested $25 donation.
Donations will benefit the Sweet Emergency Fund, which helps provide critical care for those living with HIV who cannot pay for life-saving medications. Guests will be escorted by trolley from 21st and Oliver to the home of Dr. Donna Sweet, who has hosted the event for past 18 years.
Sweet is a physician at KU Wichita Internal Medicine Midtown and a well-known HIV/AIDS expert. Donations can also be sent to:
