Man knocked out and robbed in Old Town
Wichita Police are investigating a robbery that occured shortly after 2:00 a.m. Sunday in the 100 block of North Mosley.
Wichita Police Sergeant Bart Brunscheen said a man in his 30s was walking in the area when he was jumped from behind and knocked unconscious by an unknown person.
"The victim never got a look at the person. He (the victim) said that when he woke up, his wallet was missing," Brunscheen said.
The victim told police he had about $200 in his wallet at the time of the robbery.
Brunscheen said the victim refused treatment at the scene.
