Wichita Police make arrest in robbery/shooting; more arrests expected
Wichita police arrested a 16-year-old boy in connection with the Tuesday morning robbery and rifle shooting of a man in the 2200 block of S. Fountain.
The victim, identified as Jared Drechsler, 20, is expected to recover from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
The suspect was booked on suspicion of aggravated robbery, aggravated battery, aggravated burglary and kidnapping. Police have identified two more suspects in the incident, in which the robbers got away with a 40-inch television set.
