Traffic accident in Chautauqua County injures two
A Cedar Vale woman was flown by EagleMed helicopter to Wesley Medical Center after the truck she was driving collided with a motor home Wednesday afternoon.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says a vehicle driven by 32-year-old Sara JoAnn Buffalow failed to yield at a stop sign as she was crossing US Highway 166, about three miles north of the town of Cedar Vale.
A passenger in the motor home, 55-year-old Brenda Yazel, was taken to South Central Kansas Medical Center, but her condition was not known.
Buffalow is in stable condition at Wesley Medical Center.
