Police take seven children out of bug infested home
Wichita Police took seven children into protective custody after discovering unhealthy living conditions in their home.
Police said Linwood Elementary School officials first noticed two of the children obviously were neglected due to extreme hygiene issues and called 911. The children are 15, 11, 13, 7 , 3 years old. Police said the home was bug infested, had no electricity and was filthy. There were no signs of physical abuse to the children. Police turned the case over to a social worker.
