Police release descriptions of southeast Wichita robbery suspects
Wichita Police are looking for four people - two men and two women - after they took an unknown amount of cash at gunpoint from a clerk at the Po Boy Pizza Restaurant, located near the intersection of Lincoln and Edgemoor, around 1:40 p.m. Friday.
Sergeant Scott Brunow said one of the robbers, an African-American woman, pointed a handgun at a 73-year-old clerk. The clerk opened the drawer, and a man took money from the register. The clerk was not hurt in the robbery.
The robbers left the restaurant in a green 1990s model Saturn. The clerk gave police the following description of the suspects:
- The robber who held the gun is described as an African-American woman with light complexion, 5-feet-5-inches tall and weighing about 115 pounds.
- The man who grabbed the cash is described as an African-American with light complexion, 5-feet-9-inches tall and weighing about 165 pounds.
- The third robber is described as an African-American man with dark complexion, 5-feet-10-inches tall and weighing about 185 pounds.
- The fourth robber is described as an African-American female with dark complexion, 6-foot tall and weighing about 200 pounds.
