Hutchinson man hurt after crashing into home
A 71-year-old man was hurt after crashing his SUV into a home northeast of Hutchinson.
It happened Saturday morning near 82nd Street North and Tobacco Road near Medora.
The Reno County Sheriff's Office said Henry Zelenka was driving his Toyota 4-Runner east on 82nd when he became sick, went into the north ditch and then struck the house. He was airlifted to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis in Wichita in serious condition.
Zelenka was wearing his seatbelt at the time. No one was home at the time of the accident. The home has extensive damage.
